Make 2014 Your Year for Modernizing Your Employee Management

Tina I. Hamilton, PHR, president of myHR Partner

The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) will host a dynamic workshop that focuses on one of the most important asset a business has: the people who work there. myHR Partner’s very own Tina Hamilton, PHR, will be the featured instructor at the event, where she will share her insights into employee performance management in the modern work environment. The event is part of the LVEDC’s “Solutions and Connections Business Workshop Series for Lehigh Valley Small Businesses” and is open to the public.

Following Tina’s presentation, there will be a panel discussion featuring local companies that have been recognized for their leadership in performance management. The panel will feature: Anne Baum, vice president of Capital Blue Cross; Laurie Bell, human resources manager of Smooth-On, Inc.; and Bill Hindle, president of Hindle Power.

This workshop promises to be a valuable experience for business owners. “Employees don’t come to work wanting to do a bad job,” explained council member Sally Handlon. “However, because as owners our focus is on the ‘widget,’ we often let our knowledge and skills in human resources management slide.”

We hope to see you on the 12th!
