A Bad Hire Can Sap Almost a Whole Day Out of a Manager’s Week

The study also reported that managers weren’t the only one’s negatively impacted by bad hires. Employee morale also seemed to take a toll as other workers had to either tolerate the problems resulting from the bad hire or make up for that person’s impact in their own roles.
