Their goal is to help the community improve health, nutrition and learning conditions for children as a means of raising a future population with higher IQs and better skills for combating poverty.

employee volunteerism is good for companiesWhen representative Linda Hamilton of the Crayola Company heard about Tina’s trip, Linda and the Crayola team decided to make a very generous donation of Crayola’s famous crayons, markers, coloring books and other art supplies to the children of Global Volunteers.

hireVision gives a big THANK YOU to Crayola and their considerate employees for helping the children of Anse La Raye, and for making the country of St. Lucia a better place!

When businesses promote the spirit of giving back to the community (global, national or local), they foster employee volunteerism in the workplace and a sense of job satisfaction and loyalty that comes from belonging to an altruistic organization. Everybody wins. Isn’t that nice?
